Apologies to Rich for interrupting his great blog series, he’ll be back on Monday, but I wanted to update you with some key information.

Information and keeping up to date with current trends is the life blood of the teams responsible for Capacity and Performance management and it’s not often that this comes for free.
Those following the UKCMG regularly will no doubt have noticed the number of events has increased and includes this year's free forum event at Ditton Park, Slough.
UKCMG are a great source of information for Capacity and Performance managers in all areas of IT, giving them the chance to network with like-minded individuals and this event is definitely worth a look.
UKCMG have also announced the addition of a Regional Event in the South West, it will be hosted by our friends at Everything Everywhere on the 4th October 2011 in Aztec West, Bristol.
It promises to be another content rich event with papers ranging from a user paper on "Forecasting in a WSOA environment" by Jim Dodd from Everything Everywhere and our own Jamie Baker, providing an educational session on "vSphere: Managing the internal storm".
Further information on the event including directions and the agenda, are available at www.ukcmg.org.uk.
I’ll certainly be attending both events and hope to see you there.
